On 29 September 2026, we, Fathers’ Union, held a silent protest and media briefing outside the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka. Our aim was to draw the attention of the public and the relevant institutions to unfair treatment experienced by fathers in divorce and maintenance proceedings, and the barriers they face in seeing their children.
